et in arcadia ego, and things were a little bit different ...it was like the landscape behind gioconda...an italian scenery with cypresses and riello trees mostly...lol

Carmen - yes ironic from that point of view - I thought you meant ironic as in a postmodern (yawns at the concept!) generalisation of things/concepts being ironic.
