why does being
take so
long
listen
the sky
centers itself across
where we look
and birds
sing
miniature
thinking presses
forward and escapes
being trapped in
silence otherwise
nesting
whole
cloth absorbs
whole feeling and
remains with us
mayhaps alongside
escape
long
wind taking
measure of light
