Haha! Well I think it's about time we had another space race - but where's the money going to come from?

we could tax spam to raise money for the space race
That's a great idea! Tax spam!! But then would we have more spam, because of government legislation allowing more spam??It might lead to a festival of Spam? Mmm! I'm not sure now..... ?How about virtual space travel, that would save money and problems with the speed of light? The only thing is, we'd never actually get anywhere!?
