from THE DAYLIGHT SECTIONS (80)

light qualifies light
typifies light
shines

purpose
on paved
habit ways one

salts along the
designated path
finding

mid
flow answers
maybe language or

simply nearby butterflies
to flavor
how

breath
takes in
the elements breath

not exactly lubricates
but sieves
things

now
is all
we say we

have although inexactly
for snapshots
lack

poise
of movement
on a plane

equal to clarity
one looks
from

afar
to know
what is here

look from afar

the snapshots:

lack of poise in answers
flavor
how breath takes flavor
how breath takes all molecules along
breath takes from afar
the movement in butterflies
and

light shines

on purpose

sounds good - so far everything on this blog is daylight - I like the idea of night poems, so perhaps I'll do something and see how you like it! Thanks, Carmen
